What is this March About?

I am Roger, an ordinary American citizen, and I have had enough. I am disgusted by the arrogant and venal politicians in Washington, D.C. who no longer represent us, and who seek to legislate away our unalienable rights.

I am also tired of the corrupt politicians in California who have transformed it into an economic wasteland and Progressive dystopia.

THE MARCH

The purpose of this march is to stand up for the unalienable rights and civil liberties of all Americans, regardless of political affiliation; and, to demand the elimination of any and all unreasonable and unconstitutional legislation at every level of government that infringes upon our rights.

I seek the guaranteed and unrestricted protection of all rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights, such as: our right to free speech, our right to keep and bear arms, our right of protection from unlawful detention, and our protection from unreasonable searches and seizures by government of our persons, homes, and property.

In short, I want to BE free in California, not to just feel free.

The march is also a call for the enactment of State Official Term Limits, personal fiscal penalties for members of the California State Legislature who fail to pass a balanced state budget by the deadline mandated by the State Constitution
, and policies that guarantee Transparency and Accountability from our elected and appointed leaders. Without accountability, future infringement will once again occur.

I am currently drafting the
California Liberty March Initiative Petition for Redress of Grievances that will serve as the instrument that will list specific issues that we, as American citizens, view as demanding immediate attention and redress by our elected officials in California.

If you are an American who wants to participate in the drafting of this petition of grievances and demands, you will have a chance to submit opinions, suggestions, and approval of the various drafts. This will occur between March 10th and April 10th. Once complete, the petition will be available for download from this site.

Then, on April 15th, I will begin leading a series of marches from San Diego to Sacramento, California. As I do, I will be carrying an American flag and a signed copy of the petition. I will ask everyone I know to sign it. Anyone who wishes, may bring signed copies of this document, and march with me for as long as they are able; be it one step, one block, one mile, one city, or one county.

The dates and itinerary for the marches is posted on my Itinerary Page. Along the travel routes, I will be holding rallies. There, you can gather to demonstrate your support for the cause. I am calling on musicians and entertainers, famous and not, to participate in these events.

Once I reach Sacramento, I will be holding a public rally and news conference. There, the Petition for Redress of Grievances will be read, and a call to action will be made. This audacious call to action will require the participation of millions of Americans. It is my hope that millions do.
